2010 Vogel Alcove Arts Performance Event--The nineteenth annual benefit for the Vogel Alcove Childcare Center for the Homeless will star Terry Fator, who was named “one of the best entertainers in the world” by Simon Cowell. A Dallas area native, Mr. Fator has become a national sensation with appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon, and Oprah. Mr. Fator will take time out from his five-year $100-million contract with The Mirage in Las Vegas to perform in the Meyerson Symphony Center. A remarkable ventriloquist with a great singing voice, he (and his hilarious cast of characters) will deliver spot-on impressions of famous country, soul, and classic rock singers.
